Mirrors
The inclusion of mirrors as a cross-over between art and function has been an entertaining diversion. The designs have gradually evolved from functional to whimsical and somewhat abstract. They have become a format in which to include unusual bits of unique, highly figured wood scraps that beg for display. The long, narrow shape of a number of designs finds similar wall space in most homes. The playful reflections pick up aspects of their surroundings and includes them in the composition.
